Frequently asked questions about GENCY's team, workspace, and project concepts, supported categories (apparel and jewelry), and using Team Drive. Quickly find the key information you need to understand the service structure and use its features.

What is a team?

A team is the top-level concept for managing workspaces and product detail pages (projects). You can create multiple workspaces to efficiently classify and operate your projects.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is a space for organizing and managing individual projects, allowing you to gather and manage multiple projects in one place.

When different teams or members within a team work on different projects, each member can manage their own work in a separate workspace.

What is a project?

A project refers to a product detail page created through [Create product detail page].

Each project is created and managed individually within a workspace. From the project list, you can select the project you want, enter the Editor, and modify or update its content.

Can I only create fashion apparel product detail pages?

Currently, the product detail pages you can create in GENCY are limited to the fashion apparel and jewelry categories.

In the future, we plan to gradually introduce various fashion items such as shoes and bags, as well as non-fashion categories such as food and home appliances.

How many credits does it take to create one product detail page?

Creating one product detail page requires 100 credits.

Can multiple users work on one project at the same time?

Only one user can access and edit a single project at a time.

We are currently preparing to develop a simultaneous editing feature and will do our best to provide it soon.

Can I invite team members or manage permissions?
info

Team member invitation and management features are exclusive to Enterprise customers. They will be made available to general users later, along with subscription plans.

After logging in to GENCY, you can invite team members or edit permissions from the 'Team management' menu on the left side of the screen.

What is Team Drive?

Team Drive is a team-level cloud image management space. You can upload product images in one place, organize them into folders, and load them directly into the Editor to use on product detail pages.

For more details, please refer to the Team Drive guide.

How much storage does Team Drive have?

Team Drive storage is allocated per team, and you can check your current usage at the bottom of the sidebar. When you exceed your storage limit, you can no longer upload new files, so please delete unnecessary files or empty the trash to free up space.

Can I download multiple files at once?

Yes. If you select multiple files or folders, they are bundled into a ZIP file. Because bundling takes time, a notice with an estimated time appears, and the download starts automatically once it is ready. You can download up to 50GB at once.

For more details, please refer to Managing Files & Folders.

Can I recover files I deleted from Team Drive?

Yes, deleted files are kept in the trash for 30 days. If you restore them from the trash within this period, they return to their original location. However, after 30 days they are automatically deleted permanently and cannot be recovered.

What kinds of files can I upload to Team Drive?

You can upload image and video (MP4) files. Supported formats are PNG, JPG, JPEG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, and MP4, with a maximum of 80MB per file.

Can I use Team Drive images directly in the Editor?

Yes, if you select "Import from Team Drive" on the Image tab in the Editor, you can directly load images you've uploaded to Team Drive. You can select up to 50 images at a time.
